stripe competition 2026

Zebra Robotics is thrilled to announce the official launch of the STRIPE (Science, Technology, Robotics, Innovation, and Programming Event) competition in Jamaica this October 2026.

STRIPE is an international robotics and coding platform designed to challenge students to move beyond the classroom and apply their technical skills to real-world scenarios. This year’s theme, "Ride Rush," challenges teams to design, build, and program autonomous robots to navigate complex terrains and solve strategic tasks.

Why Participate in STRIPE?

  • Global Standards: STRIPE follows international benchmarks, allowing Jamaican students to compete at the same level as peers in Canada and the United States.

  • Skill Development: Beyond coding and engineering, students develop 21st-century "soft skills" including collaboration, time management, and high-pressure problem-solving.

  • Pathway to Internationals: Exceptional performers in the October event may join their school team for the 2026-2027 season and have the opportunity to represent Jamaica at the Niagara International STRIPE Finals in Canada.

A major highlight of the program is the official launch of the STRIPE (Science, Technology, Robotics, Innovation, and Programming Event) Competition in Jamaica, set for October 2026. This international platform pushes students beyond the classroom, encouraging them to design, build, and program autonomous robots to solve real-world problems.

This year’s theme, “Ride Rush,” challenges teams to navigate complex terrains and complete strategic tasks—testing creativity, teamwork, and technical skill.

Mark your calendars and get your team ready for the biggest stage in STRIPE history. Registration will open soon!
