Summer Robotics Camp 2024: Celebrating Innovation, Awards, and AI

Looking back at January 2025 as an incredible season of empowering young minds across Jamaica, we celebrate the remarkable success, hands-on learning, and groundbreaking achievements of our past participants—including brilliant students from several schools who successfully earned their STEM certifications.

🚀 About the Camp

Our dynamic program was designed to ignite a passion for STEM, robotics, and innovation. We provided an immersive, hands-on environment where students moved beyond theory to tackle real-world challenges through:

  • Hands-On Building: Constructing and maneuvering functional robots from the ground up.

  • Coding & Logic: Mastering the foundational programming languages that drive modern technology.

  • Team-Based Challenges: Collaborating in groups to solve complex problems, fostering essential 21st-century skills like critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity.

Beyond technical building and coding, the camp featured engaging presentations on cutting-edge topics related to AI and robotics. Industry and academic leaders shared insights into how artificial intelligence and machine learning are shaping the future, opening students' eyes to the vast possibilities of modern technology.

To cap off an unforgettable experience, we hosted a special Awards Ceremony to honour the dedication and hard work of everyone involved. We proudly recognized and celebrated all the students and teachers who took part, highlighting their commitment to advancing technology education.
