Frequently Asked Questions

  • 2–3 students per robot (ideally 2 for optimal engagement).

    • Total duration: 3 weeks

    • Weeks 1–2: Courses run 4 hours per day, 5 days per week

    • Week 3:

      • STRIPE Training: 4 hours per day for 4 days.

      • STRIPT Ride-Rush Mock Competition: 4 hours on the final day.

  • Results will be published and shared with all participating schools. All competitors will have access to the results.

  • The Zebra Robotics team will travel to Jamaica to conduct an in-person training workshop in June 2026.

  • A laptop (software specifications will be provided in advance).

  • Zed Jamaica encourages parents who are able to support their child’s learning by purchasing robotics equipment (e.g., robots and practice mats).

    • This support helps:

      • Increase access for more students.

      • Reduce reliance on school resources.

      • Allow students to continue learning and practicing at home.
