Together We Can Restore Education in Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa
Hurricane Melissa has tragically impacted countless families and communities across Jamaica. This is especially so in the parishes of Westmoreland, st. Elizabeth, St James, Manchester, St. Ann and Trelawny. In the sector we serve, education, several of our beloved local schools have sustained significant structural damage, delaying the resumption of the teaching and learning process.
Zed Jamaica Limited is launching an urgent appeal to secure the funds necessary to help repair and restore these vital educational institutions. Our children deserve a strong foundation, and their future depends on us ensuring their schools are back up and running as quickly as possible. Also, as our clients we seek to assist in whatever way we can to support their restarting and reengaging of our students.
📢 The Immediate Need
For some, the damage is extensive and includes:
Roof and Structural Repairs: Many classrooms are exposed to the elements, making them unusable.
Replacement of Furniture and Supplies: Desks, chairs, textbooks, and computers were lost to flooding.
Your donation today goes directly to these essential services. Every dollar brings us closer to getting our students back into the classroom.
